I'm listening to the Smoking Tire podcast while slaving away at my office. They mentioned a Dodge Aries diesel. What? Never heard of it, and the Googles doesn't really help with this. Did this actually exist in North America?

I haven't heard that any other K-car having diesel engines except European market 2nd 3rd generation Voyagers. But still I'm not totally sure if 2nd and 3rd are anymore counted belonging to K-car platform.

I have seen and worked on alot of weird diesels in my time, S10 and Chevettes, Ford Escorts, Jeep Commanche and Cherokees, but have never seen nor heard of one of these ever. I think it is a bunch of black smoke :)
